How to Stay Updated with Pages on Facebook

You may have noticed over the last several months that you have seen less and less updates from us on Facebook. Unfortunately, Facebook has changed their algorithm several times and it doesn’t look like they’re stopping those updates to how a page like ours shows up in your feed anytime soon.

The average organic reach of a page’s update has drastically decreased. If you would like to get all the details on why this is happening, check out this article. You have to pay to play with Facebook these days and even when we pay to boost a post, there is no guarantee, and, in fact, it is highly unlikely, that all our Facebook fans will see it.

So, what do these changes on Facebook mean to you? Well, you may not be getting updates from people and pages that you WANT to hear from! It means that you will continue to see less and less updates from us unless you take action. You might be missing out on our informative and educational blog posts, giveaways, event info and more! But there IS something you can do about it! Today we’re sharing with you how to stay updated with pages on Facebook.

If you want to see the updates from a page like ours show up in your Facebook feed, you can take these steps:

1. Make sure you Like our page.
2. Under the “Liked” button in the upper right hand corner of our page, there is a drop down menu. Click on “Get Notifications.”

You can also create an Interest List, which is similar to the lists you can create on Twitter, so you can keep track of the updates from pages that fall under the category of your chosen interest. You can create an Interest List under the same drop down menu that “Get Notifications” is under.

Hopefully, this will allow you to see the updates you’ve shown that you’re interested in by liking a page! And thanks to Mommies with Style for inspiring us to share this helpful tip on how to stay updated with pages on Facebook with you!
