Moms, we know this time of year is filled with such joy, laughter and get-togethers. Because of this limited “extra” time, fitness is often placed on the back burner. Keeping active during this crazy time may seem like a luxury, at FIT4MOM, we see it as a necessity! Carving out time for you to workout can have a litany of benefits. Keeping some fitness commitment during the holidays matters.
Sanity: Having a physical outlet has been proven over and over again to be a type of release. With that release, you may find a little more patience and perspective during this crazy time.
Mindset: The phrase “Energy begets energy” is so true! When you spend time doing something good for you, you will likely make other decisions that are good for you, as well (like food choices)
Consistency: During pregnancy and postpartum, the key to get (and stay) healthy is consistency. Instead of looking back at this holiday season with regret and disappointment in yourself, let’s keep moving forward. Baby stepping your progress, one day at a time. Be sure your family knows your plan to help you stay accountable.
This holiday season can be different, moms, and moms-to-be…Commit to keep your body and mind healthy and see what a difference it makes!
